Although nothing is certain, for some time now, pretty well all our customers have been able to qualify for a grant of some kind, providing help towards at least some of the cost of home insulation.
For some people this grant can be such as to cover the total cost of the work and we even apply for the grant on your behalf. Because of the government's initiative to reduce the UK's energy consumption, households in receipt of one or more of the following benefits may qualify for a 100% grant:
- Income support
- Council tax benefit
- Income based job seekers allowance
- Pension tax credit
- Housing benefit
- Disabled persons tax credit
- Attendance allowance
- Disability living allowance
- Industrial injusries disablement benefit (must include constant attendance allowance)
- War disablement pension (must include the mobility supplement or constant attendance)
- Working tax credit (with income under £15050)
- Child tax credit (with income under £15050)
